Planned preventative maintenance

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) is a planned, documented and scheduled maintenance program which minimises the occurrence of breakdown or failure of equipment. PPM will provide an uninterrupted operation of your building which can increase the lifespan of your plant and equipment.

RPM offers bespoke planned preventative maintenance programs which we tailor to the establishments needs.

PPM programs include equipment checks, specialist servicing, worn parts replacement, general overhauls, and much, much more. The scheduling of each maintenance check is dependent on the equipment, recognised maintenance standards, our expert recommendation and your own requirements.

Resident or mobile engineers

Whether it's a resident or mobile service that you require, we have a team of dedicated, experienced and highly qualified engineers to manage and maintain your buildings.

All of our services are bespoke to our individual clients and we are flexible to suit your needs.

PFM can provide resident engineers who will be on site on a regular basis, whether it daily, weekly or monthly. Our resident engineers are on hand to fulfil your PPM schedule and will also carry out any general maintenance requirements.

We also have a large team of mobile engineers who cover all of our sites and carry out planned and reactive maintenance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.
Whatever your requirements, our team of experienced engineers are supported by our specialist contract management and administration team and PFM's in-house help-desk.

Call out service

Our call out service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year providing the reassurance that help is quickly available should an emergency arise. Out-of-hours call notification is provided immediately to the duty team including immediate communication to our management.

To make it easy for you to contact the help-desk, there is a single centralised telephone number available at all times. Additionally, we provide you with contact numbers of our senior management.

Call Out Procedure

During the call to the helpdesk, the correct skill set for the job is established. The team select an engineer who is familiar with the plant or equipment, skill-matched to the issue reported and closest geographically at the time. The selected engineer is notified to attend the call and provided with all available details of the call-out, plant and supporting information. The engineer attends the call-out and assesses the requirements to return the system to service.

We will provide you with industry standard four hour emergency responses. Our current measured level of service shows we are well within these response times.
